2.18 write the word equation and the balanced chemical symbol equation for photosynthesis

Chemical equation –

6CO2 + 6H2O Reaction (light energy) C6H12O6 + 6O2

 

Word Equation –

Carbon dioxide + water Reaction (light energy) glucose + oxygen

 

Other // catalysts (not really catalysts but generally things to put above light energy)

– Enzymes

– Chloroplasts.

 

EXAM NOTE –

Putting things like light energy does not get marks. It is the main 4 components of photosynthesis that will get you marks.
