2.73 understand that water is reabsorbed into the blood from the collecting duct

  1. Glomerular filtrate flows along the nephron. Useful things such as glucose, salt (some water, dependant on osmoregulation) will be absorbed back by active transport down the limb of henle.
  2. Glucose is re-absorbed from the PCT (Proximal convoluted tubule) by active transport
  3. Water is reabsorbed into the collecting duct by osmosis
