Displacement of Bromine from Sodium Bromide

  • Chlorine in a gas state is more reactive than Bromine, meaning the Chlorine will displace the Bromine from the Sodium, meaning it will become Sodium Chloride + Bromine
  • This is known as a displacement reaction
