Thermistors – Sense temperature

  • At high temperatures, the resistance is decreased and current increases
  • At low temperatures, resistance is high and current is decreased

LDRs (light dependant resistor) – Sense light

  • At dim, lowly lit areas, resistance is high and little current can flow
  • At brightly lit areas, resistance is low and current can flow
