1.20 Use the conservation of momentum to calculate mass, velocity or momentum of objects

Momentum = mass x velocity

  • For any elastic collision (elastic collision is where energy doesn’t last)

Total momentum before collision = Total momentum after collision

P x V (b) = P x V (a)

P = Momentum

V= Velocity
